How to order at lindohome: from account to pallet
Five steps
- Account. You register your business with a VAT number; once it is activated you see net prices next to every product.
- Basket. You add inner boxes (inner packs) or boxes (master cartons) of any products; the number of pieces in each is shown with every item, and the basket enforces multiples of the inner box and shows the discount on the value of the whole order.
- Order. You place it from PLN 500 net. You receive an automatic confirmation that it has been received.
- Pro forma invoice. We check availability and send a pro forma invoice with the transport cost; you pay by bank transfer on that basis.
- Delivery. The order leaves our warehouse in Długie within 1–5 working days of payment (by parcel, courier or on a pallet, depending on size). We state the transport cost on the pro forma invoice; it is free from PLN 3,000 net, and collection in person is always possible.
How to build a profitable mixed pallet: 20 designs, one delivery
The most common mistake with a first wholesale order is thinking “pallet = one product”. At lindohome you build a pallet from any packs: twenty different bouquets, one box each, make just as good an order as twenty boxes of a single design. The basket checks only two things: full inner boxes (or boxes) and the PLN 500 net minimum. It calculates the discount on the whole order, not on a single product.
Three thresholds worth knowing
The discount rises in steps: 20% from PLN 2,000 net, 25% from PLN 4,000, 30% from PLN 8,000, 35% from PLN 20,000 and 40% from PLN 50,000. Orders below PLN 2,000 net are charged at base prices. We state the transport cost on the pro forma invoice, and it is free from PLN 3,000 net. In practice, an order worth PLN 2,800 can work out dearer per piece than one worth PLN 3,100, because adding a few hundred zlotys of goods saves the transport cost. A sensible first target is PLN 3,000, the second PLN 4,000, where the 25% discount starts.
Example: an autumn pallet of eight product types
A set that covers the whole autumn and All Saints' Day season without reordering:
- chrysanthemum stem, 75 cm, in three colours (white, yellow, orange), one box of each: material for bunches and wreaths,
- chrysanthemum flower heads, 14 cm in diameter, one box: for your own memorial production,
- heather bouquet, 33 cm, in two colours: for arrangements in pots and baskets,
- sunflower bouquet, 28 cm, one box: table and shop-window decoration,
- white gypsophila stem, 65 cm, one box: a filler for everything above,
- eucalyptus branch, 63 cm, one box: greenery for bunches,
- bouquet base with 9 stems, 38 cm, one box: a base for made-to-order bunches,
- rose bouquet, 30 cm, in assorted colours, one box: sells all year, so the pallet is not only seasonal.
Eleven boxes, eight product types, one delivery. With a mix like this the value passes the second discount threshold and delivery is free. The basket shows the exact value once you are logged in.
Rules that shorten the time it takes to place an order
- Start from what you sell, not from what looks nice. Your own production needs stems, bases and fillers; selling ready-made decorations needs bouquets and garlands.
- An assortment of colours in one box instead of four boxes in four colours. With bouquets and stems, mixed sets give you a full colour shelf from a single box.
- Add one year-round box to every seasonal pallet. Roses, peonies, gypsophila or eucalyptus keep selling after the season and do not sit in your warehouse.
- Check the number of pieces in the inner box and box shown with the product. Boxes range from 8 pieces (blankets) to over a thousand (small stems). A box of 1,000 pieces makes sense for your own production, not for selling by the piece.
- Order once a season, not once a week. Every order means a separate pro forma invoice, a separate pallet and a separate 1–5 working days of fulfilment; one larger order reaches a higher discount threshold.
Three order sizes, one set of rules
The discount thresholds are set so that the same shop can serve customers of very different sizes:
- First pallet (PLN 2,000–4,000 net, 20–25% discount). A mixed set of a dozen or so boxes, as in the example above. You check quality, rotation and colours before ordering more.
- Regular customer (PLN 8,000 net and above, 30% discount). One pallet a season or a quarter, made up of year-round and seasonal boxes. Your order history in your account lets you repeat the previous mix, and the number of pieces per box is shown with every product.
- Wholesaler, chain or large customer (PLN 20,000 net and above, 35% discount; 40% from PLN 50,000 net). Full pallets of single designs, several pallets in one delivery, reservation of goods from incoming containers for the season, and a dedicated sales contact. At this scale an order in the shop is the starting point, and we agree the terms directly.
Autumn deliveries are already in stock
Goods for autumn and All Saints' Day are in the warehouse: over eighty items in the Autumn Decorations category and fifty in Christmas. The shop shows items available in the warehouse, and we confirm the availability of each before sending the pro forma invoice, so you build a pallet from what will actually leave within 1–5 working days.
What happens after you place an order
We check the availability of each item, send a pro forma invoice with the transport cost, and once you have paid the pallet leaves our warehouse in Długie within 1–5 working days. On delivery, check the number of cartons and the condition of the wrapping; any transport damage should be recorded with the courier on the spot.
